In the Mix

This is my first meaningful participation in a blog. The more meaningless involvements were youthful indiscretions.

As a member of the charter group of 1985, I am one of the oldest Younger Poets in captivity.

The big news is as follows: I am moving to my fiancee's place, and we are getting married in October. We also have a wonderful rescue dog.

On the literary front, my book Settling for Beauty comes out in August. More can be found out on the web site (www.cherry-grove.com) or by getting in touch with me.

Peace,

John

Island of the Lost Poets

Well I've sent out invites to all the folks from the Yahoo group, plus a few others I've been able to track down. Here are five whose e-mails are bouncing: anyone know the whereabouts (or e-mail addies) of these folks?

Thom McCaffrey '02; Matthew Hittinger '00; Rachel Epstein '03; Jill Kupchik '03; Sophia Giacomazzi '96

muchas gracias--

crash dive: cash drive: crashed drive

Poets! Apologies for the tardy e-invites to the rest of y'all. Our 'puter crashed. Randy was beside himself. Sadie was all over both of us: WHAT? WHAT? Allie was her pissy narcissistic self: Can I sit on the shelf formerly occupied by that gray tower thing?

Crossing our fingers that the Bucknell tech folks can restore/revive our Dell. Photos are in that weird limbo: they're "in" the computer but, recalcitrant beast, it ain't sayin' nothing.

No, wait: some photos are still in the digital cam. I'll see what I can do.

Missing all y'all. Check in, sound off, give a mighty Hee-Haw salute from yer corner of the Yew Ess Ay.
